Bodyfurn Colour Range
The Bodyfurn colour range is a direct result of a meticulous research conducted to measure the psychological effects of each colour on students.
Research suggest that green can improve the reading ability; some students may find that laying a transparent sheet of green paper over reading material increases reading speed and comprehension. Blue is often used to decorate offices because people are more productive in place where blue colour is present. Grey is an interesting and challenging colour choice for many schools, as it is the only colour that has no direct psychological properties; but will create positive traits when combined with green or blue.
Red is a strong and stimulating colour; it raises the heart pulse rate and may give the impression that time is passing faster than it is. Care should be taken when placing red into a classroom and thought put into the stimulating qualities of the colour. Perhaps use it as a teachers chair or to highlight a personality trait or where lively debate or behaviour is expected. Black communicates sophistication and uncompromising excellence; it creates a perception of weight and seriousness. Again care should be taken when placing black chairs into a classroom, the room should be very well lit with greens and light blues in the space.
